Hi! I'm Ailey. It's pronounced "Eye-Lee." 

 

I was born in the Kansai region of Japan and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I eventually made my way to Toronto to study media production, and am currently based here as an audio producer and journalist.

I started my career as an intern in CBC/Radio-Canada's podcasting department. I continued my work there after the internship - you can hear some of my CBC Podcasts work at this link. I'm currently an Associate Producer on Bookends with Mattea Roach.

I'm passionate about all things audio, especially podcasting. I spent my time at school developing my producing and writing chops through various projects, from a history podcast to a children's cooking show. I'm an experienced audio editor, copywriter, and project manager. My other areas of interest include live broadcasting and children's content.
